Per IRS regulations, we are required to report working interest as non-employee compensation via a 1099 MISC form. 1099 MISC forms are mailed on January 31st. To request a copy of your 1099 MISC form, or for questions about updating 1099 addresses or changing tax IDs, contact us online.
Please note that Merit Energy is reporting all 2018 income on behalf of BHP for the Fayetteville assets. Therefore, your 1099 may reflect income from both BHP and Merit. You will not be receiving a 1099 from BHP.
